Lakers News: Team Owner Jerry Buss Passes Away Monday Morning

After it was announced late last week that Lakers’ owner Jerry Buss was in the hospital dealing with cancer, Mike Bresnahan of the Los Angeles Times is now reporting that one of the greatest owners in the history of pro sports has passed away.

 

Dr. Buss helped turn the Lakers into one of the most dominant forces in the NBA during his tenure as owner.

He was 80 years-old.
