According to Marc Stein, Fisher is looking to make a return to Oklahoma City for another stint with the Thunder. Fisher helped guide the Thunder to the Western Conference Finals in 2012 and played an important role for the team off the bench.

Oklahoma City traded back up guard Eric Maynor during this season’s trade deadline, meaning it has a void to fill on the roster. Fisher is known as a player who is not afraid to take a clutch shot and the Thunder will need someone like that on its roster moving forward.

Fisher was traded by the Lakers to the Rockets in March of 2012, but he was waived shortly after the deal became official. The five time played for the Dallas Mavericks this season, but appeared in only nine games before agreeing to part ways.
