The basketball world is still buzzing about the play from last night’s game between the Lakers and the Hawks that resulted in Kobe Bryant severely spraining his left ankle. While no foul was called on that play last night, many fans are questioning Atlanta’s Dahntay Jones’ defense and if it was legal or dirty.
Kobe Bryant started the recovery process of his injured ankle immediately following the game. After his wife, Vanessa, posted a rather gruesome photo showing the severity of the reigning Western Conference Player of the Month’s injury, Kobe followed up by tweeting an update of his recovery process, along with another photo.

It is unknown how long the Mamba will be sidelined with the ankle sprain that he claims is the worst since the 2000 NBA Finals. Currently, the Lakers have officially listed Kobe as “out indefinitely”, but knowing Kobe Bryant, he will be back in action sooner than later.
Up next, the Lakers will finish their three-game road trip against the Indiana Pacers on Friday night.
