Lakers News: Kobe Bryant’s Wax Figure Gets Ankle Treatment

KOBELos Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant has a wax figure at the famous Madame Tussauds Hollywood, and it too is receiving ankle treatment.

The real Bryant suffered a severe ankle sprain in the Lakers’ loss to the Atlanta Hawks on Mar. 13, and was forced to sit out two games because of it. As part of his rehab process, Kobe has been receiving electro-stimulation treatments, something that inspired those at Madame Tussauds to show support for the All-Star.

The Los Angeles Times writes that the Bryant wax figure was fitted with a muscle stimulator and fans were allowed to sign a get-well card.

Bryant’s likeness, at Madame Tussauds Hollywood, was fitted with a muscle stimulator, similar to the device the Lakers All-Star guard used to help treat his ankle.

Additionally fans signed a giant get-well card at the feet of Bryant’s figure, wishing him a quick recovery.

Bryant is expected to make his return from injury Friday night against the Washington Wizards, in a game that will also see Pau Gasol back in the lineup after weeks on the sidelines.
