After numerous injuries and setbacks, the Los Angeles Lakers finally have a healthy starting lineup.
For the first time in months, Pau Gasol, Dwight Howard and Steve Nash are all on the court ready to give it their all for the Lakers. The three stars have not played together at full strength, but now that they are in the lineup, coach Mike D’Antoni expects some big things.

D’Antoni spoke to Sports Illustrated and he talked about what he wants from the Lakers now that they have their starting lineup completely healthy.
“A lot of decisions were made when Steve wasn’t on the floor and Dwight wasn’t 100 percent and Pau wasn’t playing real well or 100 percent,” D’Antoni said. “So you think, ‘That’s not working, this isn’t working,’ but when they’re all 100 percent it can work.”
The Lakers had a full starting five for their game against the Washington Wizards, but the team could not win despite holding an 18-point lead. In the final stretch of the regular season, the Lakers cannot afford to lose to teams like the Wizards. This team has a lot of talent top to bottom, but they cannot rely on that alone to win games.
As of right now, the Lakers are in sole possession of the eight seed in the Western Conference, but if they want to advance past the first round, they must move up the standings.
