Phil Jackson Applauds Kobe On Twitter Following Win Over Mavericks

After Kobe’s triple-double led the Lakers to a victory over the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday night, Phil Jackson, who was in attendance for the game, tweeted out some words of praise for Bryant’s incredible performance.

Jackson, who was in the building for Shaq’s jersey retirement ceremony, took to Twitter for the seventh time.

Other than O’Neal, Jackson got the most reaction from the fans at Staples on Tuesday, as fans chanted ‘we want Phil’ during the halftime festivities. The chant, which garnered a small smirk from Phil, was brought to the attention of Mike D’Antoni after the game, who stated he didn’t blame the fans, citing Phil’s “58 rings” as plenty of reason for the fans to clamor for Phil.

Still, when you put together a performance that leaves Phil Jackson, who has seen just about everything, impressed, safe to say you had a good day at the office.

Bryant and the Lakers are off until Friday when they host the Memphis Grizzlies.
