Kobe Bryant continues to break records this season, and did again in the first quarter of Friday night’s game against the Memphis Grizzles. Kobe was tied with basketball legend Elvin Hayes for the sixth spot on the all-time field goals made list (10,976) at the start of Friday’s game. Kobe Bryant needed one made field goal to jump Hayes for the sixth spot in the game against Memphis, which didn’t take long.
Lakers’ sideline reporter Mike Trudell tweeted:
That last @kobebryant hoop pushed him past Elvin Hayes for No. 6 on the @nba‘s all-time field goals made list.

Kobe made his 10,977th made field goal with a tough hook jumper that the Mamba made look easy. In case you missed it, the shot that allowed Kobe to take over the sixth spot on the all-time field goal list is below. Next up on this list is none other than Kobe’s former teammate Shaquille O’Neal with 11,330 made field goals.
