Lakers News: Dwight Howard Tweets Video And Photo Of Himself Fishing

Dwight Howard has a big decision to make in a few weeks regarding his future. While the Lakers remain relatively confident that they will be able to re-sign Dwight, the star center has publicly stated that he will take his time to make his decision.

Free agency doesn’t officially start until July 1st, and teams cannot officially sign free agents to a contract until July 10th. Therefore, Dwight has time to weigh his options and decide where he would like to make his impact for the next several years.

Until then, Dwight Howard has tried to escape any media attention (physically at least) by vacating to Lake Tahoe and now to Aspen, where he has been clearing his mind, trying to determine his future and fishing. Today, he tweeted a Vine video and photo (shown above) of him doing just that (well, fishing at least).

While there seems to be a division of Lakers fans regarding whether or not they want Dwight to re-sign with the Lakers, I think we all can agree that the sooner he makes his decision, the better for all involved.

With that said, as a free agent, Dwight has the right to weigh every option and decide what team aligns with his personal goals and his game the best.
