NBA News: Matt Barnes Re-Signs with the Clippers

NBA: Preseason-Los Angeles Lakers at Los Angeles ClippersThe Los Angeles Lakers have been busy this free agency period and although their first priority is to re-sign Dwight Howard, they have other names on their radar.

One of them was Matt Barnes, but he has decided to join the other team in Los Angeles, the Clippers. Lakers Nation wrote earlier that Barnes was contemplating signing either with the Clippers and Lakers, but the forward decided to stick with the team he played for last season.

On Friday, Barnes tweeted his decision on Twitter that he will once again play alongside Chris Paul.

The Lakers are looking at other free agents this summer but before they can make an accurate plan for their future, they must wait for Howard’s decision. At this point it is unclear when and how Howard will decide where to play next.

The Golden State Warriors are emerging as a strong candidate, meaning the Lakers will have to battle another team in the latest episode of the “Dwightmare.”
