After being quiet and under the radar for the most part of free agency, the Lakers have been bolstering up their roster over the past few days. Since the departure of Dwight Howard, the Lakers have signed Chris Kaman and Jordan Farmar to their roster. On Thursday they made another addition.
According to Sam Amick of USA Today, the Lakers and Nick Young have agreed on a one-year deal worth the veteran minimum.

Nick Young played with the Philadelphia 76ers last season, averaging 11 points, two rebounds in a reserve role off the bench.
Perhaps the most obvious thing Young will add to the Lakers roster is much needed youth and athleticism. There is even a chance that he could be the starting shooting-guard at the start of the season with Kobe Bryant recovering from surgery on his Achilles.
Considering their financial restrictions, this is a great signing for the Lakers and a valued pick-up that fans will love.
