Although they are only exhibition games, the Lakers are a very popular team in China and big crowds are expected for both games.
The Los Angeles Times writes that tickets for the games will go on sale Thursday for those looking to watch the preseason matches.
Tickets are set to go on sale on Thursday for the Lakers’ two exhibition games against the Golden State Warriors in China.
The two teams are to play in Beijing at the MasterCard Center on Oct. 15, followed by a rematch on Oct. 18 in Shanghai at the Mercedes-Benz Arena.
Ticket prices start at 200 renminbi — about $33.
Kobe Bryant is currently touring Asia with Nike, but it is not expected that he will play when the team visits the country before the season stars. Bryant is a huge star in China and even thought the fans will be upset that he will not suit up, the Lakers would rather have a healthy Kobe in time for the opener on Oct. 29.
