Lakers Rumors & News Recap: LeBron Leaves Out Magic On Top 3 List

LeBronJamesAfter winning a second consecutive NBA title and a fourth NBA MVP award, LeBron James has been all over the place. James has been staring in commercials, making random appearances while also conducting interviews.

Recently, James was posed with a question during an interview that many of the best players in the league, including Kobe Bryant, have been asked over and over again. James was asked who he believed were the top three NBA players of all-time.

Without hesitation, LeBron named Michael Jordan. After mentioning Jordan, the reigning NBA Finals MVP struggled to come up with his second player. Eventually, LeBron named Julius Erving and then Larry Bird.

Although both of those NBA legends are high up on many people’s lists of the greatest of all-time, it’s hard not to include Magic Johnson.

Almost immediately after naming Bird, LeBron expanded his list to include Magic at number four.

Ironically enough, out of all the players of the past and current players in the league, Magic is the closest to LeBron in terms of skill and size. LeBron has that pass-first mentality like Magic with only an inch separating the two in terms of height.

A bit surprising Magic wouldn’t make the top three on his list, but clearly Bird and Erving have made more of an impression on the veteran forward.
