Lakers News: Xavier Henry Discusses His First Day Of Team Workouts

On Monday, Janis Carr of the OC Register reported that numerous players were at the Lakers training facility in El Segundo preparing for the upcoming season. One of the newest additions, Xavier Henry, was there to complete his physicals and was clearly excited about being a Laker.

After completing his physicals and workout, Henry expressed his excitement to be with the Lakers via Twitter:

Heading into his fourth season in the NBA, Henry hasn’t had the opportunities to live up to the expectations as a former 2010 lottery pick. While Henry has a partially-guaranteed contract and is a camp invite, he has shown the ability to be a two-way player as a 40 percent three-point shooter and solid defender.
