VIDEO: 20 Minutes Of Elgin Baylor Career Highlights

For most fans, we’ve only read or heard about Elgin Baylor and how gifted he was as a shooter, rebounder, and passer. In 1960, Baylor scored 71 points which was a record at the time and still holds the record for most points in the NBA Finals with 61 points.

In 13 seasons with the Minneapolis/Los Angeles Lakers, Baylor averaged 27.4 points, 13.5 rebounds, and 4.6 assists while appearing in 11 All-Star Games. He is considered one of the greatest players of all time and was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1977.
