Video: Kobe Bryant Discusses Recovery, Legacy And More With Rick Fox

With the Los Angeles Lakers season already 10 games deep, guard Kobe Bryant is making the media rounds to discuss when he thinks he’ll be back on the floor after tearing his Achilles last April.

Bryant has been deemed ahead of schedule in his recovery and talking to Rick Fox of NBATV tonight, he reiterated that point, even going as far as saying if tonight were a playoff game he’d play. Again, Bryant said there isn’t a timetable for when he thinks he’ll return as he’s used cryptic messages via his Twitter avatar to possibly suggest when he thinks he’ll be back on the court.

He also talked about the beginning stages of his recovery saying that he wasn’t able to sleep the night he was injured and the night was filled with question marks about the procedure and timelines.

Regardless, Bryant still seems like he’s on pace to return at some point during the first half of the season and with the Lakers 4-6, they could certainly use number 24 on the court.
