On the second end of a back to back, the Los Angeles Lakers will face off against the Charlotte Bobcats to try to recover from a blow out loss against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Since that loss, we have seen trade rumors start popping up for Pau Gasol. Can the Lakers shrug off the distractions and get a win on the road?
Check out the game highlights below:
Bryant's first FG was a tough, left-handed lil' hook in the paint, putting LAL up 8-6 early in Charlotte.

Kobe's 1st Q was pretty encouraging for LAL. Didn't look like a guy 3 games into a comeback from Achilles surgery. 8 points, 2 assists.

LAL take a 39-37 lead behind another @kobebryant jump shot. He has 10 points, plus 4 assists to lead LAL in both categories.

Pretty drive from Nick Young is his first FG in 4 attempts, putting LAL up 44-43. He then (smartly) took the foul to give w/3 sec. in half.

Great pass from Pau to the diving Hill. Lakers down 5.

The screen/roll game is producing plenty of good looks for LAL, but they're missing a lot (Gasol 5 of 15) and turning it over a ton (14).

Lakers down 68-64 after 3rd Q to Charlotte.

Lakers back in the lead as @XavierHenry finds a rolling @Bobby_Sacre for the smooth finish at the cup. 73-72 with 8:49 remaining. #GoLakers

Young's 2nd FG was a 3, cutting a 6-point lead in half, and Bryant followed a stop w/a driving layup to cut the lead to 1 w/1:22 to play.

Lakers get a badly-needed win on road 88-85 over Bobcats – a blood win as they say – or something like that
