VIDEO: D-Fenders Battle Back, But Come Up Short Against Warriors

D-FendersThe D-Fenders were able to notch their second win of the season against the Santa Cruz Warriors thanks to a 41 point effort from Manny Harris in his season debut. In a rematch over the weekend, they were unable to come up with the plays down the stretch to pick up the victory as they fell to the Warriors 108-105.

Despite falling down by 12 early in the game, the D-Fenders battled back thanks to 16 three pointers. Harris again led the D-Fenders in scoring with 24 points, and Kareem Rush hit four three-pointers on his way to 14 points, but missed a shot late that could have tied the game.

The Warriors were led by Stephen Curry’s younger brother Seth, who tallied an impressive 29 points and 13 assists in the victory. The D-Fenders fall to 2-5 and travel to Santa Cruz to take on the Warriors one more time on Tuesday night.
