The Los Angeles Lakers finally received a bit of good news on Tuesday, that they would finally have a true point guard back in their lineup. Jordan Farmar has been cleared to play on Christmas Day against the Miami Heat and is ready to get back on the court but also said he expects to tire quickly. Lakers head coach Mike D’Antoni expects that Farmar will play in spurts to account for his limited conditioning.
Without any point guards in the lineup, Nick Young was forced to attempt to facilitate the offense, which had Farmar laughing at practice, poking fun at Young being a “points” guard rather than a point guard.
