In the loss to the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday, things got a little out of hand when Nick Young was fouled hard by rookie Alex Len. Young retaliated by lashing out against Len and company while most of the Lakers on the floor simply watched as Young vented his frustration physically against five opposing players.

Young wasn’t happy about the fact that none of his teammates were willing to back him up in the altercation with the Suns on Wednesday. As a result of the scuffle in Phoenix, Young was suspended for one game and a locker room rift seemed to be brewing, but apparently Young has cleared the air with his team.

On Friday, Young let the media know that he and his teammates are back on the same page according to Lakers Nation reporter Serena Winters:

With the Lakers losing 12 of their last 13 games, it comes as no surprise that Young would lose his cool as quickly as he did. Young has been one of the most consistent players on the team this season and a much better acquisition that anticipated when the team signed him in the off-season.

Currently, Young leads the team in scoring with 16.4 points per game and will be sorely missed on Friday night when the Lakers take on the Boston Celtics at TD Garden.
