The Los Angeles Lakers were back on the court as they faced the Chicago Bulls for a Sunday matinee game. The Lakers got off to a slow start and despite a push late in the fourth quarter, they were unable to overcome the early deficit and fell to the Bulls, 92-86.
En route to the home loss, Steve Nash was struck in the same spot on his leg where he suffered a fracture early into the 2013 season. Sunday’s injury resulted in nerve irritation that caused the point guard to miss the remainder of the game. Nash doesn’t believe the setback to be long-term and expects to play on Tuesday.
During a promotional event being held at the Nike Vault, Kobe Bryant provided an update on his recovery from a fracture in his left knee. Bryant stated he is limited to wait and see approach and will continue with bike exercises.
