In the regular season finale between the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers, it was a game won by a Threatt.
Lakers’ point guard Sedale Threatt hit a shot with 4.5 seconds left in overtime that ended as the game-winner after a desperation shot by the Clippers fell short at the buzzer. Threatt finished with 24 points, but none were bigger than the final two of the night. He also added six assists in 48 minutes of play.

Byron Scott led the way for the Lakers with 27 points to go along with seven rebounds. In the end, the Lakers had five players in double digits, including Threatt, Scott, A.C. Green, Terry Teagle and Elden Campbell. Green had the only double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds.
The win improved the Lakers’ record to 43-39 and secured their spot as the sixth seed in the Western Conference. During the season, the team won the season series over the Clippers 3-2.
