Andrew Bynum Cited For Multiple Traffic Violations in L.A.

Even though Andrew Bynum hasn’t been on the court for the Lakers he has still been in the news. TMZ is reporting that Bynum was pulled over not once, but twice in the past three days for multiple traffic violations.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … Bynum was pulled over Tuesday for driving without a license plate and having illegally tinted tail lights. Bynum walked away with a fix-it ticket.

But it was not lesson learned, because today Bynum was pulled over in his Porsche 911 on the freeway for going over 80 mph. Bynum was cited and released.

Many of you may remember last season when Bynum was pulled over and cited for driving 110 mph in his Ferrari. I guess when he’s in the Porsche he’s a little more responsible.

Bynum isn’t the first NBA star to be cited for speeding and he certainly won’t be the last. But considering he’s a player that needs to do a bit of rehabilitation to his personal image at the moment this isn’t the best way to go about that.

The Lakers center will miss tonight’s game against the New York Knicks as he sits out his fourth and final game of a suspension he earned during last season’s playoff series against the Dallas Mavericks.
