Breakdown: Kendall Marshall’s Big Night vs. Utah Jazz Analyzed

KendallMarshallOn Friday night, Kendall Marshall had himself a game. He had career highs in just about every statistical category, and helped the Lakers (finally) end their six-game losing streak. Even though the game was against the dismal Utah Jazz, considering what the Lakers have dealt with over the course of the season, any reprieve from losing was graciously accepted.

In the wake of Marshall’s big performance, Coach Nick over at BBallBreakdown took the time to analyze the performance, and try to figure out what happened that allowed L.A.’s new No. 12 to have the game of his life.

Obviously, it was a combination of strong offense from Marshall and weak defense from Utah that helped lead to the statistical barrage Marshall led. But, considering the dire straits the Lakers found themselves in headed into the game, any win is a big one.
