Bryant and Gasol’s Horse Preparing for Run

A racehorse co-owned by Los Angeles Lakers‘ stars Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol is preparing to run at Betfair Hollywood Park.

Siempre Mo will have its first race on Sunday and the Lakers players are hoping the new runner will come out on top. Siempre Mo is trained by Doug O’Neill, the same trainer who worked with the Kentucky Derby and Preakness winner, I’ll Have Another.

As for the competition, Siempre Mo will be running against five other horses in the $12,500 claiming race. Siempre Mo will be ridden by Joy Scott and they hope to claim the top prize.

Trainer O’Neill says that the horse has a “big shot” of winning on Sunday and Bryant and Gasol are hoping their horse can live up to the hype.
