Byron Scott: Lakers Will ‘Get Tired Of Getting The Crap Beat Out Of You’

After suffering their fourth consecutive loss, this time at the hands of the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Los Angeles Lakers must figure out how to turn the corner and get back in the win column.

Though the Lakers have been competitive in the last three losses, head coach Byron Scott says the team eventually has to get tired of losing according to Lakers Nation reporter Serena Winters:

With a 3-13 record, it’s hard for the Lakers to be happy about anything. They are 0-3 on their current homestand, and have had chances to win all three games, but the team just hasn’t been able to finish when it matters most.

No one likes to lose, and the Lakers have had to deal with that feeling far more than they would like. Scott’s belief is that at some point the team will get tired of this feeling after every game and really start to lock in on defense, which has been their weak point this year.

Kobe Bryant will not let the team start giving up right now. Times are rough, but the last thing the Lakers can afford to do is get down on themselves and Bryant will ensure that doesn’t happen.

The Lakers have a long road ahead of them, and the next step will come on Sunday against the Toronto Raptors. Hopefully the Lakers will show that they are tired of this, and make a stand against one of the Eastern Conference’s best team.
