The Los Angeles Lakers returned home after a long road trip to host the Milwaukee Bucks, Tuesday night. Thanks to stellar play across the board and a well balanced attack, the Lakers notched their fourth victory of the season after a 113-95 win.

D’Angelo Russell was demoted back to this bench role following the return of Jordan Clarkson, but the rookie did not let that affect his game.

He finished the night with 19 points, seven assists and three steals. Following the win, coach Scott spoke about Russell and the improvements he has made thus far in his first season, via Ryan Ward of Examiner:

The Lakers will not be making the playoffs this season and fans once again have their eyes focused on the draft lottery. However, the best thing that can come out of this year will be having the young players develop their skills. The future of the franchise rests on Russell, Randle and Clarkson, and the coaching staff must do everything it can to help these players.

Los Angeles will be back on the court Thursday night when it welcomes Dwight Howard and the Rockets to the Staples Center. It will be interesting to see if Russell can have the same level of production as he did against the Bucks, something that will be much needed if the Lakers want to claim another victory.
