Some fans may have been unhappy with the outcome, but the Los Angeles Lakers were able to edge out an overtime win over the Philadelphia 76ers. Jordan Clarkson hit the game winner, but his college teammate Jabari Brown had an outstanding night as well, scoring 22 points off the bench.

After the game, head coach Byron Scott praised Brown, in talking his demeanor and feel for the game via Lakers Nation reporter Serena Winters:

Brown is on the last day of his second 10-day contract with the Lakers, but Scott added that Brown has shown the Lakers everything they wanted:

Whether or not the Lakers end up signing Brown to a contract for the remainder of the season remains to be seen, but there is no doubt that Brown has shown that he is fearless on the court and an excellent scorer at the NBA level.

Coming into tonight’s game, Brown had averaged eight points on 46 percent shooting in nine contests. With the Lakers having very few healthy players in the backcourt and Brown earning praise from everyone, it is a possibility that he could stick around for the stretch run.
