Byron Scott’s Top 5 Lakers Moments (VIDEO)

There’s a reason Los Angeles Lakers fans rejoiced when the Lakers officially named Byron Scott as their new head coach. As a member of three Lakers championship teams during the Showtime era, Lakers Nation takes a look back at Scott’s greatest moments before he turned in his Laker jersey for the fashionable suits of an NBA coach.

Remember when Scott poured in 35 points to help Los Angeles beat the Phoenix Suns in Game 5 of the 1989 Western Conference Finals? Or, what about his three-pointer game-winner against the San Antonio Spurs in 1990.

And of course, we can’t do a Byron Scott highlight video without putting in his posterization over Purvis Short.

If you weren’t around to remember Byron Scott’s playing days, enjoy!
