Derek Fisher Nominates Kobe Bryant For Ice Bucket Challenge

Derek Fisher’s former teammate, Kendrick Perkins, recently challenged the new head coach of the New York Knicks to the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. Fisher accepted the challenge and posted a video showing him getting drenched with ice cold water on his Instagram account:

“I accept #ALSicebucketchallenge from @kendrickp5. I nominate @kobebryant @tyrese @iamdiddy @dezbryant. You have 24 hours to complete your challenge or you owe 10k. Video cred @india63 #ALSicebucketchallenge #cold #ioweyoubigperk #paybackisamutha”

Even though most people nominate three others after doing the challenge, Fisher went with four instead. The five-time NBA champion nominated Kobe Bryant, Tyrese Gibson, P. Diddy and Dez Bryant of the Dallas Cowboys.

Kobe also points out that he was nominated by a few others with the Miami Heat’s Dwyane Wade and ESPN’s Darren Rovell also challenging the Lakers star. Wade posted his challenge on Instagram and nominated another Laker great in Magic Johnson:

Kobe hasn’t posted a video as of yet, but he did say he’ll being doing it later today. Curious to see who the superstar will nominate after doing his challenge? Head coach Byron Scott and some of his teammates could be next in line.
