Since 2001 Kobe Bryant has had the most popular selling NBA jersey amongst fans. In the last decade Bryant has finished the season with the top jersey sales six times, including last season. Bryant’s jersey had been the top seller in retail stores and on NBA.com since April 2011.

However, this season Bryant was pushed down to third place in the rankings, according to ESPN. Reigning league MVP Derrick Rose and New York Knicks guard Jeremy Lin both surpassed Bryant in total sales.

Miami Heat forward LeBron James, who has finished with the top selling jersey at the end of the season twice since 01, finished fourth.

Lin’s teammate, Carmelo Anthony, rounded out the top five.

Bryant’s jersey continues to be one of the top selling pieces of NBA merchandise. No player has sold more jerseys than Bryant in the last ten years, a feat is unprecedented considering the current star power in the league.
