GIF Of The Week: Kobe Bryant’s Baseline Jumper Returns

Kobe Bryant may not have gotten back all of his strength, all of his explosiveness, or all of his speed. Bryant may not completely regain any of these attributes that have made him one of the premier athletes in the world, but he still has his craftiness, his footwork and his baseline jumper. it may be another few weeks until Bryant is back to full form, but nothing says he’s on his way than this baseline jumper he hit over Gerald Henderson in the Lakers Saturday night win over the Charlotte Bobcats — and boy was it missed. Bryant’s baseline fadeaway is one of those shots that people are going to one of those signature shots that hoops fans will remember for years to come much like Jordan’s fadeaway at the elbow, Kareem’s skyhook, Gervin’s finger roll and Hakeem’s Dreamshake. It has been a long eight months since we’ve been able to see Bryant’s last baseline fadeaway and it feels so good to have it back. Check out the GIF below:
