INSTAGRAM: Jordan Hill Says He Will Miss Nick Young, Lakers Trainers

Even with the struggles of the Los Angeles Lakers over the past two seasons, it was apparent to anyone following the team that big man Jordan Hill and guard Nick Young were very close. In fact, it was rare when one didn’t interrupt the post-game interview of the other to make jokes.

The two were split up this off-season, however as Hill elected to sign with the Indiana Pacers this summer. After being introduced by the Pacers, Hill said he would miss Young as well as a couple of the Lakers trainers in a video posted by Shane Young of Hoops Habit:

Hill had a career year for the Lakers last season, averaging 12 points and 7.9 rebounds. Coincidentally, the Lakers traded for former Pacers starting center Roy Hibbert, basically opening the spot for Hill with that roster.

Some will surely miss the playful banter that Hill provided, especially when combined with Young as entertainment of any sort was hard to come by for the Lakers last season. Now, both sides will be looking for big time improvements next season.
