Nick Young is about as motivated as any player in the league to make an impact next season. The Los Angeles Lakers sixth man has been putting in work this summer at the team’s practice facility while also playing in the Drew League.

Along with putting in the extra time during the off-season, Young seems to be reaping the benefits. Young recently posted this video of him throwing down this flawless dunk on his Instagram account:

Young is clearly motivated to prove his worth heading into the 2014-15 NBA season after signing a long-term deal with the Lakers. The veteran guard/forward appears determined to step up his game and help the team bounce back after the worst season in franchise history.

With Kobe Bryant back in the fold and a few roster upgrades, the Lakers are gearing up to surprise people next season. The re-signing of Young could prove crucial in the team’s attempt to bounce back if he can play at the same level he did last season while improving his game defensively.
