James Harden Talks about the World Peace Elbow

James Harden of the Oklahoma City Thunder has taken some days off after Metta World Peace elbowed him in the head, and according to the Daily Thunder, he is feeling much better.

“I’m doing good, had a couple days working out getting my groove back, feel pretty good,” said Harden.

Harden said he has been doing whatever it takes to get back on the court and wants to do everything he can to help this Thunder team. Harden praised the Thunder coaching staff for its effort and had full trust in its abilities.

As for his reaction to Metta World Peace and whether or not the elbow was intentional, Harden said, “I don’t know.” He refused to comment on his attitude towards the seven-game suspension and avoided the question.

The Thunder will play the Dallas Mavericks in the opening round, a rematch of last year’s Western Conference Finals.  Harden should be able to play in the series and if the Thunder end up beating the Mavs, the Lakers may see him in the second round.
