After being charged with murder in an Atlanta shooting late last week, Javaris Crittenton has been taken into police custody in Orange County.
According to FBI spokeswoman Laura Eimiller, Crittenton was taken into custody about 8 p.m. at John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana. Eimiller said that Crittenton surrendered to authorities peacefully.
The report was originally broken by the Atlanta-Journal Constitution, which stated that Crittenton was wanted after the shooting death of 22-year-old Julian Jones.
