Jordan Clarkson On Career Night Against Jazz: ‘I’m Never Satisfied’

The Los Angeles Lakers were able to come out on top for the second game in a row on Wednesday night by getting the best of the Utah Jazz on the road. Los Angeles played a solid team game and despite a late run by Utah, prevailed with an impressive performance by rookie point guard Jordan Clarkson.

Clarkson spoke to Mike Trudell of Lakers.com after the game and said the following about his career night, via Lakers Nation reporter Serena Winters:

The Missouri product finished with a career-high 22 points on 10-of-16 shooting while also adding four rebounds, three assists and two steals.

Clarkson continues to be the starting point guard for the Lakers with head coach Byron Scott showing confidence in the 22-year-old. Jeremy Lin seems to play better off the bench and may stay in the second unit for the rest of the season while Clarkson shoulders the load as a starter.

With veteran Ronnie Price set to miss the rest of the season following elbow surgery, Clarkson could continue to see a considerable amount of minutes night in and night out.

Before helping lead the Lakers to victory on Wednesday, Clarkson was averaging 7.8 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game in 33 games.
