Jordan Hill On Lakers Offense: ‘Everybody Gets To Touch The Ball’

Jordan Hill led the Lakers in scoring Friday night with 23 points. In addition to getting the tough baskets at the rim like he has been known to do, Hill expanded his game and hit a couple of jumpers on his way to finishing the night 10 for 15 from the field.

Following his strong outing, Hill compared last year’s team with the current one according to Lakers Nation senior writer Ryan Ward:

Injuries constantly plagued the Lakers last season making it difficult to develop any chemistry. Then head coach Mike D’Antoni struggled to find a healthy rotation to rely on. As a result, Lakers appeared to be lost on both ends of the court throughout the season and the team stumbled to a franchise worst 55-loss season.

As a result, D’Antoni resigned and the Lakers hired Byron Scott to replace him. With Scott on bench, there was plenty of optimism surrounding the team and its ability to move on from last year’s disasterous season. Although the Lakers don’t have any wins yet and will be without Steve Nash and Julius Randle for the year, the team appears to slowly finding its footing.
