As no surprise to anyone, LeBron James is leading in total votes for the All Star game with Kevin Durant second among vote getters. Bryant is a surprise to some as he’s only played in two games. Bryant has been able to tally votes despite being injured as his name has been on the ballot since voting first opened. There likely won’t be much shifting among the top vote getters, but it looks like there could be an outside chance for either Steph Curry to catch Chris Paul or Kevin Love to catch Blake Griffin to earn starting spots in the Western Conference.
Pau Gasol is seventh among Western Conference frontcourt players while Steve Nash is ninth among backcourt players.
