Kobe Bryant After His Final Game In New Orleans (video)

Los Angeles Lakers Kobe Bryant played in his final game in New Orleans on Friday night, and the 20-year veteran did something he’s never done before. With 7:20 left in the game and the Lakers down 16 points, Bryant cold on the bench, Kobe chants echoed throughout Smoothie King Center, as they have in many arenas this season.

But tonight, for the first time, Bryant responded to the chants, admitting that he actually checked himself back into the game to give the fans in New Orleans one last hurrah.

After the game, Bryant talks about what he’ll take away the most from this farewell tour. He also gives his thoughts on the Golden State Warriors, the state of the NBA, and D’Angelo Russell saying that his main goal over the last games is to give him the ball. New Orleans also played a special tribute video in the first quarter, which you can head here to watch.
