After undergoing an MRI to discover the severity of Kobe Bryant’s torn Achilles tendon that he suffered from during Friday’s game, the 34 year old has elected to have surgery early Saturday afternoon. After practice today, head athletic trainer Gary Vitti confirmed the complete tear of Kobe’s Achilles tendon.
Vitti says its a 6-9 month timetable for @kobebryant’s recovery. Asked if that means he’s back for next season, “that’s the plan.”
