Kobe Bryant, Lakers Media Day 2014 (VIDEOS)

Kobe Bryant walked into Toyota Sports Center on Monday morning for his nineteenth Los Angeles Lakers media day. Coming off back-to-back, season-ending injuries, Bryant actually said this is the calmest he’s felt before training camp.

Bryant is asked about Derek Jeter’s farewell tour to which he responds with what he thought was Jeter’s most touching moment (hint: it’s not the walk-off single). Plus, Bryant addresses questions regarding managing his minutes and what he expects from himself this season.

Kobe also discusses the mixture of emotions he feels going into his nineteenth season, including excitement, nervousness and rage.
