The Los Angeles Lakers suffered yet another loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder, and this latest defeated was by 35 points. However, fans were treated to a matchup between Kobe Bryant and Kevin Durant, something that will always draw attention.

Durant has expressed his appreciation for Bryant many times before and it was clear those two were having fun on the court. In the first half, Durant got the best of Bryant as he blocked two shots on the same possession.

Following their second blowout loss to the Thunder in a week, Kobe shared what he said to Durant after he got blocked twice via J.A. Adande of ESPN:

Bryant finished the game with 19 points on 7-of-22 shooting to go along with his three assists. However, he notched a plus/minus of -36 and the Lakers stood absolutely no chance against the extremely talented Thunder team.

The Lakers will be back in action on Friday for a Christmas Day game versus the Los Angeles Clippers. It will be Bryant’s final Christmas game and it will surely be something the five-time champion cherishes. Although this season has been a big disappointment, a win over crosstown rival Clippers would be a great holiday present.
