Kobe Bryant Out Sunday vs. Dallas Mavericks

As many expected, Lakers star Kobe Bryant will once again take a seat when the Lakers take on the Dallas Mavericks today at Staples Center. Bryant, who has missed the team’s previous four games due to a sore left shin, will sit out Sunday when the team goes for the season sweep of the defending NBA champions.

The report was confirmed by head coach Mike Brown on the official Lakers Twitter account.

Bryant’s next opportunity to return will come on Tuesday when the team hosts the San Antonio Spurs, a team they just beat without Bryant.
