Kobe Bryant Posts Instagram Picture of Physical Therapy Exercises

On Twitter and Instagram, it seems that Mamba knows best. On Saturday he tweeted a picture of a new tattoo he recently got, which got some fans excited to see Kobe’s new ink. However, for those interested in on-court action, and when Kobe will return from his torn Achilles, the other picture he posted will be of more interest to you.

Bryant posted a picture of his legs, with a caption that indicated he was participating in physical therapy exercises to help improve the strength of the injured Achilles. Here’s the picture Bryant put up;

This has the feeling of a good sign for the Lakers, who will need Bryant back and ready to play as soon as possible. An Achilles tear usually results in a 6-9 month recovery process, and takes even longer for the player to feel comfortable on that leg.

I guess the story that Bryant is already participating in strengthening exercises shouldn’t be too surprising, especially after Kobe’s coach, Mike D’Antoni, recently said he expects Bryant to be back and fully functional once the season begins, which is certainly what the rest of the team is hoping for.
