On Sunday, after the Los Angeles Lakers finished practice, the retirement speculation was a topic of discussion once again. Although everyone wants to know if Kobe is serious about possibly retiring earlier than expected, the five-time NBA champion made his Super Bowl pick.

With Kobe’s beloved Philadelphia Eagles failing to make the NFL playoffs, Bryant appears to be rooting for Tom Brady to win another ring with the New England Patriots, via ESPN’s Baxter Holmes:

The fate of the Patriots will be determined on Sunday night with hosting Andrew Luck’s Indianapolis Colts. New England is favored to come out on top and if they do, they’ll face the winner of the NFC Championship game between the Seattle Seahawks and Green Bay Packers.

If Brady and company are able to get the best of Chuck Pagano’s Colts, the future Hall of Famer will have a shot at winning a fourth Super Bowl title alongside head coach Bill Belichick. Much like Tim Duncan in the NBA, Brady has only played for one coach throughout his NFL career and this could be his last shot at another title with the superstar quarterback set to turn 38 in August.
