Kobe Not Interested in Signing With Besiktas

NBA.com’s David Aldridge reports that Los Angeles Lakers’ star Kobe Bryant is not interested in signing with the Turkish basketball club Besiktas.

Bryant was in contract discussions with Besiktas, but a source close to both parties said Kobe has not communicate with the club for over two weeks and there is a ‘zero percent’ chance the five-time champ will head to Turkey.

Although several NBA players have already decided to play overseas during the league lockout, Bryant has chosen to stay loyal to his team and keep his talents in the USA.

Besiktas signed NBA legend Allen Iverson to a contract last season, and they have already inked a deal with All-Star guard Deron Williams.
