Millsap, the younger brother of Jazz forward Paul Millsap, appeared in 91 career games, with 77 starts with the D-Fenders. In his career with the D-Fenders he averaged 17 points, six rebounds and one steal a game. Throughout the playoffs, Millsap appeared in 11 games posting up an average 22 points, seven rebounds and two steals a game. He played a key role in the D-Fenders championship run last year.
Despite falling to the Austin Toros in the Finals, the D-Fenders where undefeated in the playoffs, and finished the regular season with the best record in the league at 38-12. During the 2012-2013 season Millsap averaged 19 points, six boards, three assists and two steals a night for L.A. He was later selected to attend the 2012 NBA D-League All Star Game and named with All-Second Team honors.
He returns to a struggling team who is currently 2-4, and on a four game losing streak. Millsap should transition back well as he rejoins former teammates Jamario Moon, Courtney Fortson and Oriene Green. With their newest addition, the D-Fenders look to get back on track as they continue their second of a four game home stance. Millsap will make his debut tonight versus the Reno Big Horns at 7 p.m. at the Toyota Sports Center in El Segundo.
