Labor Meeting Ends, Still No Deal

After meeting for over 12 hours on Wednesday the players and owners were unable to reach an agreement, but did say they will meet again tomorrow.

David Stern spoke to reporters following the meeting and seemed relatively exhausted. He refused to discuss whether or not the two sides had made progress or not.

“We’re not failing and we’re not succeeding. We’re just there,” Stern said.

President of the players’ association Derek Fisher announced similar news. “We spent a lot of time covering all the issues we still have remaining, but we can’t say there’s been significant progress.”

The two sides will reconvene tomorrow, but this seems an all too familiar script.
