Lakers Rumors No More: Lakers Get Ramon Sessions from Cavs

The Los Angeles Lakers have acquired point guard Ramon Sessions from the Cleveland Cavaliers for a 2012 first round draft pick and reserve forward Luke Walton.

The trade was announced by Brian Windhorst of ESPN:


Alex Kennedy of HoopsWorld reported that the Lakers also included Walton in the deal.

The Los Angeles Lakers have acquired Ramon Sessions from the Cleveland Cavaliers, according to sources close to the situation. The Lakers will land Ramon Sessions and Christian Eyenga in exchange for Luke Walton and a first-round pick (top 14 protected) in the 2012 NBA Draft.

Sessions is averaging 10.5 points and 5.2 assists per game this season for Cleveland. He has been in the NBA since being drafted back in 2007 by the Milwaukee Bucks.
