The Los Angeles Lakers and East West Bank will once again be participating in their annual “A Season of Giving” by donating and distributing Thanksgiving turkeys and pies to families of the Foothill Unity Center.
The event will take place Tuesday, Nov. 22, from 9:30 to 10:30 AM. It will be held at the L.A. Arboretum, which can be found at 301 North Baldwin Ave, Arcadia, CA 91007.
The Foothill Unity Center expects to provide Thanksgiving food for 1800-2000 families at this event, which spans two days. Since 2000, the Lakers have used “A Season of Giving” as a way to assist thousands of less fortunate children and adults in our community.
Assisting the Foothill Unity Center will be members of the Lakers Girl as well as certain members of the Lakers staff.
